Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Office
Temporary Position Available: Student Services Specialist
LOCATION: District Office: 2411 W. 14th Street, Tempe, AZ 85281
HOURS: Part-time 20-30 hours per week, M-F 8am – 5pm
PAY RATE: $13 - $15 per hour
DURATION: IMMEDIATE through June 30, 2014
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Supports projects and tasks under the Office of the Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
Assists in collection of data and report compilation
Assists in report summary, project documentation, and all other related written materials
Assists in communication with internal and external programs
Works independently to complete assigned projects
Performs assigned duties to support team efforts
Desired Qualification
Associate’s Degree of higher
Effective oral / written communication skills
Knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, and equipment
Project management or facilitation experience
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
This position may require early morning, some Saturday, and some evening hours. Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D Driver’s License is required; must meet district minimum standards regarding driving: http://www.maricopa.edu/legal/rmi/vehicle.htm#requirements
